Fertility Award 2027: a new grant cycle opens, ceremony in Stockholm

Sona-Pharm is opening a new cycle of the Fertility Award. Held every two years, the award supports specialists whose work is directly related to infertility treatment and recognises solutions with results already achieved and confirmed — from higher implantation and live birth rates to improved key performance indicators of a clinic.

The Fertility Award 2027 ceremony will take place in July 2027 in Stockholm — during the days of the 43rd ESHRE Annual Meeting (4–7 July). In 2025 the grants were presented at a château near Paris, alongside the ESHRE meeting.

In the 2025 cycle, the expert panel reviewed 45 submissions from seven countries across two categories — clinical research and business cases. Eight entries from Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Georgia received grants.

Applications are open to gynaecologists, fertility specialists, andrologists, embryologists, geneticists and clinic managers from Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Armenia, Moldova, Uzbekistan and Mongolia. Applications open on 1 February 2027.
